Every engagement begins with listening.
We believe the people closest to the work are also closest to the solutions. By combining research, strategy, facilitation, and human-centered design, we help organizations create practical changes that strengthen culture, improve performance, and deliver lasting impact.
Because sustainable change isn't imposed—it is designed together.
Our experience includes partnerships with organizations across education, workforce development, nonprofit, healthcare, technology, and the arts.

Every organization has a story.
Some are navigating rapid growth. Others are rebuilding trust, strengthening culture, designing new programs, or reimagining how they serve their communities.
While every engagement is unique, they all begin the same way: by listening. The stories below illustrate how we partner with organizations to transform complexity into meaningful progress.
The Challenge
A workforce organization wanted to strengthen collaboration among leadership, staff, and board members while creating a strategic plan that would guide daily decision-making—not simply sit on a shelf.
Our Approach
We facilitated interviews, workshops, and collaborative planning sessions that engaged leaders and stakeholders in developing a shared vision, measurable priorities, and implementation strategies. Throughout the process, we emphasized participation, transparency, and shared ownership.
The Outcome
The organization adopted a strategic framework with measurable goals, strengthened governance practices, and created greater alignment across leadership, staff, and board members. More importantly, employees left the process with a stronger sense of ownership and confidence in the organization's direction.
The Challenge
An America's Job Center wanted to create a more welcoming and inclusive experience for job seekers while strengthening staff engagement in continuous improvement.
Our Approach
Using interviews, focus groups, journey mapping, and a collaborative design sprint, we worked alongside employees and community members to better understand the customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
The Outcome
The redesigned welcome experience increased customer engagement while helping staff develop practical human-centered design skills they continue to use in their daily work. The project demonstrated how thoughtful design can strengthen both organizational culture and public service.
The Challenge
A statewide educational organization sought to expand meaningful work-based learning opportunities while building stronger partnerships among educators, employers, and workforce organizations.
Our Approach
We led the design of a paid remote micro-internship initiative that brought together diverse partners around a shared goal. The program was intentionally designed to incorporate continuous learning, participant feedback, and long-term sustainability from the outset.
The Outcome
The pilot filled all available internship placements within two weeks and achieved participant persistence exceeding 90 percent. More importantly, it established a scalable model for expanding access to meaningful work experiences while strengthening cross-sector partnerships.
The Challenge
Like many organizations, a college was navigating significant organizational change while working to strengthen communication, improve collaboration, and create systems that better supported employees and students.
Our Approach
Rather than beginning with solutions, we began with conversations. Through stakeholder engagement, collaborative planning, process redesign, and continuous feedback, leaders and employees co-created improvements that reflected the realities of their work.
The Outcome
The organization strengthened communication, streamlined operations, expanded student services, and fostered a culture of shared responsibility for continuous improvement. Employees became active partners in shaping organizational change rather than passive recipients of it.
