WE REDESIGN SYSTEMS SO PEOPLE CAN FLOURISH

I help organizations hear themselves.

Organizations already contain the knowledge they need.

The challenge is learning how to listen.

Boglárka Kiss helps mission-driven organizations hear themselves.

She is an organizational development executive, researcher, and human-centered designer who helps leaders navigate complexity by strengthening organizational culture, building alignment, and designing systems where people can flourish. Drawing on the discipline of a musician, the curiosity of a researcher, and the perspective of an executive, she helps organizations become healthier places to work, learn, and serve.

Long before she became a consultant, Boglárka learned organizational development as a musician. In music, no one succeeds alone. Great performances emerge through careful listening, disciplined practice, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to something larger than any individual performer. Those lessons continue to shape every organization she has the privilege to serve.

"Music taught me to listen before reacting. Research taught me to ask better questions. Leadership taught me that sustainable change happens with people, not to them."

That philosophy has guided a career spanning management consulting, higher education leadership, workforce development, technology, research, and organizational transformation. Rather than viewing these as separate fields, Boglárka sees them as different expressions of the same work: helping people create organizations worthy of the people inside them.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of Remos Collective, Boglárka partners with public agencies, educational institutions, workforce organizations, nonprofits, and mission-driven businesses to strengthen leadership, improve organizational effectiveness, and design human-centered systems that deliver meaningful results. Her work combines organizational development, strategic facilitation, qualitative research, and human-centered design to help organizations navigate change while building internal capacity for continuous improvement.

Earlier in her career, Boglárka was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where she worked with clients in healthcare, technology, and the arts, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic during its transformation and move to the Walt Disney Concert Hall. She later served as a professor, statewide Guided Pathways leader, economic development director, dean, researcher, and technology executive, experiences that allow her to bridge disciplines and work comfortably across complex organizational systems. She also completed training in human-centered design through Stanford University's d.school, where she deepened her belief that the people closest to a challenge are also closest to its solutions.

A lifelong learner, Boglárka holds degrees in economics, business, educational leadership, and music. Outside of work, she enjoys rowing—a passion reflected in the name Remos Collective, inspired by the Latin phrase Destitutus ventis, remos adhibe ("If there is no wind, take the oars."). To her, the phrase is more than a motto. It is a reminder that meaningful progress comes not from waiting for conditions to improve, but from helping people move forward together with purpose, resilience, and hope.
